The Ego and Its Death

When life is repeatedly in charge of disrupting every construction of your person, your ego, it is when the only option left is to collect the broken pieces of what you knew about yourself. There is the possibility of beginning to build another reality, another person, more genuine and unconditioned from the past, without masks, more attached to your soul, to what your heart desires. To which it gives meaning and purpose to life, despite the doubts and the fear of trying new paths that are outside your comfort zone and the lack of approval and acceptance of others. It is the call to be reborn from the death of your ego and the false idea you had of yourself; to be aware and start building from what you are, with intention and meaning, from your heart, personal power and creativity, which makes you unique, the differentiating element in each of us.

With each fall the layers of our ego die, life teaches us our power to self-heal, to rise and try something new, and to recognize the blessings that each situation brings. When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and surrender to pain, our eyes open to living consciously and with intent, every experience in life begins to build from what is good for me and where it is worth putting my effort and energy. Only then, we can change the energy we put out there, our power to manifest what is really of value and lasting in our lives. Instead of continuing to feed into our reality, everything that brings us pain, anger, self-criticism, unhappiness, dependence, and frustration, simply because we want to continue to cling to the idea of who we are, which is familiar to us. Even though it is no longer useful to our being and its survival. Allow us to feel pain it allows us to reborn.

Starting from scratch to remove layers of programming in our personality is a good start, so we can feel, create, and live according to our inner compass. Eliminating everything that gives us unease, dependence, and brings no value and purpose into our lives are actions that provide a basis for a future of change and promise. We are creative beings by nature, and we are always creating consciously or unconsciously in our lives. What do you want to create in your life? Do you want to create consciously or on autopilot?

The ego and its death

What feeds the ego and won’t let it die:

  • Not being aware of what I am constantly protecting myself from
  • What I demand from others
  • The role of the victim
  • The situations in which I find myself trapped, consciously or unconsciously created, that activate my pain and make me reactive
  • When I am not allowed to be free for fear of not being approved and celebrated by others
  • Not allowing me to be vulnerable and authentic
